streets
. The
tapestry
of
stores
was
born
out
of the
Downtown
Plaza
Associates
, a
group
of
local
investors
and the
Hahn
Group
who
-
in
concert
with the
City
of
Sacramento
-
redeveloped
the
area
occupied
by the
plaza
. By
1993
, the
107
million
dollar
Downtown
Plaza
was
ready
to
host
120
stores
, and
accommodate
up
to
4,000
automobiles
.
