Title	Mansion Inn, Downtown Sacramento at 16th and H Streets
Date	April 6, 1964
Description	This April 1964 postcard shows the courtyard and swimming pool of the Mansion Inn, at 700 Sixteenth Street. As the story goes, Governor Pat Brown would occassionaly dart across H Street in his swimming trunks for a quick jump into the pool and then an equally quick listen at the Music Circus, at Fourteenth and H, still soaking wet. The 51-unit garden court-style motel opened in November 1958.
