school
was
founded
in the
fall
of
1916
, but
didn't
make
its
way
to the
Land
Park
area
campus
until
1924
after
the
Sacramento
City
Board
of
Education
purchased
60.42
acres
of
land
from
T.E
.
Gay
for
64,250
dollars
. The
administration
building
and the
women's
gymnasium
were the
first
two
buildings
on
campus
.
