Hall
is
filled
with the
merrymakers
who
pose
for a
group
picture
.
Smiles
and
stoic
stares
appear
on the
faces
of the
many
males
wearing
ties
and
tassled
fezzes
late
in
October
of
1929
,
no
one
present
at this
happy
occasion
realizing
that
within
a
week
the
Wall
Street
Stock
Market
collapse
would
drastically
alter
many
of their
lives
. The
Elks
Lodge
still
stands
at the
corner
of
Eleventh
and
J
Streets
and has
undergone
rennovation
.
