Company

1914
came
in the
form
of a
parade
.
Led
by a
brass
band
, the
procession
ended
its
giddy
walk
at the
company's
location
at
Riverside
Boulevard
and
Seventh
Avenue
. By
July
1917
, and
after
accusations
of
embezzlement
and
various
financial
woes
, the
entire
company
-
assessed
at a
value
of
one
million
dollars
-
had been
reorganized
.
Without
enough
capital
to
survive
, the
company
folded
in the
early
1920s
.
