Date	1935
Description	This circa 1938 photograph provides a rare view of Sacramento proper from the north side of the American River. Several landmarks are visible. The City Incinerator, marked by its stack can be seen to the far left of the photograph, built in 1924. Just above it is the skyscraping California Western State Life Insurance Company building, built in 1925. To the right of the photograph is the Southern Pacific Railroad rail yards, while the Tower Bridge, built in 1935, is visible to the upper, right-hand corner. In the foreground is the enormous Bercut-Richards Packing Company, established in 1932.
