Description	Pictured on July 15, 1947, is a meeting of the Sacramento Credit Women’s Breakfast Club. Members sit at a u-shaped banquet table, looking toward the camera. Born out of a desire for credit office workers to organize and socialize, the Sacramento group was established in May 1947. Modeling itself after similar clubs in Portland, San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley, Sacramento started with 50 members. The first chapter was started in Portland in 1930.
