Description	Pictured here, in the 1920s, is a place holding a reputation for being one of the finest municipally- operated summer camps in the country, Camp Sacramento. Set at 6,500 feet and within a forty acre site known as Sayles Flat, the Camp opened in July of 1921 with 30 cabins and a central dining hall/lodge. The original weekly rate for adults at the camp 16 dollars and 25 cents.
