shows
the
building’s
lobby
in
circa
1928
.
All
patients
and
visitors
entered
the
hospital
on the
second
floor
via
steps
. In
doing
so
, they were
met
with the
pictured
lobby
and
admissions
window
. To the
right
of the
window
were
administrative
offices
where
the
records
of the
institution
were
kept
, in
addition
to
consultation
rooms
and
offices
for
resident
physicians
and the
hospital
chaplain
. To the
left
of the
lobby
was the
entrance
to the
southwest
wing
of the
hospital
and the
first
rooms
dedicated
to
patient
care
.
