façade

structure
with

cars
parked
before
it
. By
late
1941
,
however
,
it
was
converted
into a
500-seat
theater
called
The
Times
. The
architect
for the
125,000
dollar
project
was
William
David
of
San
Francisco
while
the
contractor
was
A.E
.
Erickson
of
Sacramento
. Its
premiere
film
was
shown
on
October
1
,
1941
:
“Bad
Men
of
Missouri,”
starring
Dennis
Morgan
and
Jane
Wyman
. The
theater
operated
until
1971
.
