. The
150,000
dollar
structure
was
built
in
1931
to
replace
St
.
Stephen’s
Catholic
Church
which
would then be
put
into
operation
as a
parish
hall
.
Just
a
few
years
earlier
, in
1926
, the
neighborhood
of
East
Sacramento
was
made
into a
parish
.
