1936
breach
of
several
levees
along
the
east
coast's
Susquehanna
,
Ohio
and
Potomac
Rivers
,
resulting
in the
loss
of
hundreds
of
lives
,
200,000
homeless
, and
well
over
150,000,000
dollars
in
damage
.
