.
Four
buses
can
be
seen
at the
terminal
,
one
bound
for
Chico
and
another
for
San
Francisco
.
Built
in
1944
, the
33
,
000
square
foot
structure
operated
as a
bus
depot
until
1959
.
After
that,
it
was
leased
by the
State
Department
of
Water
Resources
before
it
was
razed
in
December
of
1966
to
make
way
for the
Goodyear
Tire
and
Rubber
Company
. Also
visible
in the
background
is
the
downtown
depot
of the
Sacramento
Northern
Railway
.
