The Foreign Trade Club of California
Eleventh Birthday
The Sacramento Region Citizens Council
Twenty-second Monthly Meeting
San Francisco, Hotel Whitcomb
Friday Evening, May Eleventh
Six forty-five
The foreign Trade Club of California has
invited the Sacramento Region Citizens
Council to hold its next meeting in San
Francisco, beginning with an informal dinner at the Hotel Whitcomb on Friday evening, May 11th, at six forty-five.
Other bay region civic organizations will
send delegations to the meeting.
A few brief talks will be given, presenting
the picture of our Region to the business
and newspaper men of the bay area. Some
of these talks will be broadcast over KFRC.
During the dinner the musical entertainment will be given by radio station KFRC.
This meeting affords the Council a wonderful opportunity to get the story of the
Region personally before the people of the
bay district.
Saturday morning, May 12th, will be
spent reviewing San Francisco's shipping
district and inspecting the great electric
motor ship California, with its wonderful
refrigerator equipment.
The session will conclude Saturday noon
with a Surprise Luncheon in a down-town
restaurant.
That proper arrangements may be made,
it is necessary to send your Friday evening
dinner reservations promptly to the Council. For that purpose please use enclosed
white dinner reservation slip.
For this occasion Hotel Whitcomb has
made special rates to those who make room
reservations through the Council. If you
wish to take advantage of this opportunity,
fill out the enclosed pink hotel room reservation order.
